Claude now works inside Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides
Most club and depletion analysis dies in the gap between exporting a spreadsheet and getting it into an AI tool. Claude now sits in a sidebar next to the open file and writes the formulas, tabs, and charts in place, so a 12-month club skip-rate report takes an afternoon instead of a week.
How to use it
- Copy the prompt below.
- Swap each [bracket] for your own details. The more specific you are, the better the answer.
- Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini and send it.
The prompt
You are a DTC analyst for a [winery / brewery / distillery / wine and spirits shop] in [region]. You are working in the Google Sheet I have open. It contains [describe the data: e.g., 14 months of wine club shipment records, one row per member per shipment] with columns for [list your columns, e.g., member ID, join date, club tier, shipment date, order total, skipped yes/no, cancelled date]. Do this in the open file, one step at a time, and show me each change for approval before you make it: 1. Create a tab called "Shipment Summary" with one row per shipment date showing: members billed, skip rate %, cancellation rate %, average order value, and total revenue. 2. Create a tab called "At Risk" listing every member who skipped two or more consecutive shipments, or whose order value dropped more than [25]% from their own 12-month average. Include member ID, club tier, tenure in months, and lifetime spend, sorted by lifetime spend highest first. 3. Add a native chart to the Summary tab showing skip rate by shipment date. 4. In plain language below the chart, write three sentences: what the skip trend is doing, which club tier is leaking fastest, and how many dollars of annual revenue the At Risk list represents. Rules: do not change my raw data tab. If a column I named is missing or ambiguous, stop and ask me which column to use instead of guessing. If the data cannot support one of these calculations, say so plainly rather than estimating. Flag any row that looks like a duplicate or a data entry error. When you are done, give me one retention action I could run this month against the At Risk list, sized for a team of [number] people.

Claude Projects let you write those rules down once and have every draft follow them, which takes about an hour to set up and saves the rewrite cycle on every draft after that.Claude, ChatGPT, or GeminiBuild a five-competitor gap report on your website, club, and tasting pricesMost operators guess at how their club terms and tasting fees stack up against the wineries, breweries, or distilleries down the road, and that guess quietly costs you members and ticket size every month. This walks through a one-afternoon setup that turns saved web pages into a written gap report with ranked fixes you can assign on Monday.Claude, ChatGPT, or GeminiOne prompt that writes your tasting room new-hire training guideNew tasting room hires usually learn by shadowing, which means every guest gets a different story and a different club pitch.
