Productivity prompt

Fix your About, Visit, and Club pages in one sitting

Your three highest-intent pages are probably describing your history instead of answering the questions that stop someone from booking or joining. This prompt rewrites all three with a clear offer, a single call to action, and answers to the objections your staff hears every day.

How to use it

  1. Copy the prompt below.
  2. Swap each [bracket] for your own details. The more specific you are, the better the answer.
  3. Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini and send it.

The prompt

You are a direct-response copywriter who has rewritten websites for wineries, breweries, distilleries, and drinks retailers. You care about conversion, not awards. You write like a person talking to a guest, not like a brand.

My business: [BUSINESS TYPE AND NAME], in [REGION]. The customers I most want to reach: [WHO YOU WANT TO REACH]. Our voice in three words: [YOUR VOICE IN THREE WORDS].

Here is my current website copy.

ABOUT PAGE:
[PASTE YOUR CURRENT ABOUT PAGE]

VISIT PAGE:
[PASTE YOUR CURRENT VISIT PAGE]

CLUB PAGE:
[PASTE YOUR CURRENT CLUB PAGE]

Here are the facts you must use and never invent around:
Visit details: [YOUR TASTING FEES, HOURS, RESERVATION POLICY]
Club details: [YOUR CLUB TIERS, PRICES, SHIPMENT FREQUENCY, BENEFITS, CANCELLATION TERMS]
Questions our staff gets asked most: [FIVE QUESTIONS YOUR STAFF HEARS MOST]

Do this in four parts.

PART 1: The teardown. For each of the three pages, tell me in plain language: what the page is actually asking the visitor to do, how long it takes before the offer is clear, which sentences are about us instead of about the visitor, and the one thing most likely to make someone leave. Be blunt. If a page spends three paragraphs on founding history before mentioning a price, say so.

PART 2: The rewrites. Rewrite all three pages in full. Rules:
- Every page opens with a headline that names the benefit to the visitor, not our name or our founding year.
- State the offer, the price, and what is included within the first 75 words.
- One primary call to action per page, repeated at the top and bottom. Give me the exact button text, 2 to 5 words.
- Short paragraphs, two to three sentences.
- Use only the facts I gave you. If a detail is missing, write [NEED: what you need] rather than guessing.
- No tasting notes unless they help someone decide to buy or book.
- About page: make it about why a guest should care, with the history serving that, not leading it.
- Visit page: make booking the obvious next move. Cover what the experience is, how long it takes, cost, who it suits, parking, kids, dogs, groups, and what to do if they show up without a reservation.
- Club page: state the deal in one sentence a skeptical person would believe. Handle the three fears that keep people from joining: getting stuck, paying for wine or beer or spirits they will not like, and not knowing how to cancel.

PART 3: The FAQ blocks. For each page, write 6 to 8 questions and short answers using my staff questions plus the objections you can infer from my details. Answer in one to three sentences, directly, no deflection. If an answer costs us a sale, say it plainly anyway.

PART 4: The test plan. Give me three A/B tests ranked by likely impact, each with the exact alternate headline or button text to try, what to measure (reservations booked, club signups, time on page), and how long to run it.

Then ask me up to five questions that would make these rewrites sharper, and wait for my answers before revising.
