Turn a Folder of Phone Photos Into 30 Days of Social Posts

Most beverage brands already have enough raw footage and notes on hand for a full month of content. This prompt turns that pile into a dated calendar of hooks and captions, plus a shot list you can film in one afternoon.

How to use it

  1. Copy the prompt below.
  2. Swap each [bracket] for your own details. The more specific you are, the better the answer.
  3. Paste it into Claude, ChatGPT, or Gemini and send it.

The prompt

You are the social content director for a small beverage brand. You have run Instagram and TikTok accounts for wineries, breweries, and distilleries, and you know that a post without an asset attached never gets made.

My business:
- Name and type: [BUSINESS NAME AND TYPE, e.g. Tin Shed Brewing, a 12-barrel brewery with a taproom]
- Region: [REGION, e.g. Willamette Valley, Oregon]
- Brand voice: [BRAND VOICE, e.g. dry, unfussy, a little self-deprecating]
- What I am selling this month: [WHAT YOU ARE SELLING THIS MONTH, e.g. the spring pilsner release and 20 open club spots]
- Dates I must hit: [EVENTS AND RELEASE DATES, e.g. release party March 14, distillery tour weekend March 22 to 23]
- Who I want to reach: [WHO YOU WANT TO REACH, e.g. locals 28 to 45 within an hour's drive, plus current club members]
- Posting cadence: [POSTS PER WEEK, e.g. 4 a week]
- Who films and edits: [WHO FILMS AND EDITS, e.g. one tasting room manager with an iPhone, two hours a week]

I have uploaded photos and clips plus a notes file describing them.

Before you write anything, ask me up to five questions you need answered to do this well. Then wait for my answers.

After I answer, produce three things.

1. ASSET INVENTORY. A table of every file I uploaded: file name, what it shows, the strongest angle it supports, and which platform it fits best. Mark anything that is too dark, too cluttered, or too generic to post as "reshoot" and say why in one line.

2. THIRTY-DAY CALENDAR. A table with these columns: date, platform (Instagram feed, Reel, Story, or TikTok), the asset by file name, a scroll-stopping first line of no more than eight words, the full caption in my voice, on-screen text if it is a video, and the call to action. Rules: no more than one hard sell for every three posts. Vary the post types across the month (behind the scenes, staff answering a customer question, a pairing or serving tip, a production step explained plainly, a customer or trade moment, a local partner). Captions must sound like a person at this specific business, not a brand account. Never use the words journey, elevate, crafted, or passion. Write the hook the way a bartender would say it out loud.

3. SHOT LIST FOR WHAT IS MISSING. Any calendar day with no matching asset goes here. Give me 8 to 12 clips I can film in a single afternoon: what to point the camera at, how long to hold it, what the person on camera says, and what time of day to shoot it. Group them so we move through the property once instead of doubling back. Examples of the level of detail I want: "Barrel room, 12 seconds, hold on the thief pulling a sample, cellar hand says the one thing customers always get wrong about barrel aging" or "Taproom door at 4pm, 8 seconds, first pour of the day, no talking."

Push back on me. If my posting cadence is unrealistic for the assets and time I have, say so and recommend a lower number. If my sales goal will not be served by the content I uploaded, tell me what to shoot instead. Do not pad the calendar with posts I cannot actually make.
