Special Edition: see which club members will cancel next (free tool)

Drop in your club export. Three minutes, nothing uploaded, nothing goes into Claude or any AI. A call list by lunch.

Special Edition: Alcohol Industry Insider

I built you a free tool: see which club members are about to cancel

Monday's issue showed you how to spot club cancellations before they happen with one export and Claude Cowork. It works, but it takes a paid Claude plan and an afternoon.

So I built the short version. It's free, it runs in your browser, and it takes about three minutes.

Club Cancellation Risk Scorer

Here's how it works:

  1. Export your member list from Commerce7, WineDirect, Toast, Square, or whatever runs your club. Any columns, any order.

  2. Drop the file on the page. It matches your columns to the signals that show up before a cancellation: a skipped shipment, a declined card nobody chased, no order in nine months, a tasting room signup who never came back, email that stopped getting opened.

  3. Read the list. Every active member gets a score and lands in High Risk, Watch, or Healthy. High Risk members are grouped by the reason they're drifting, each with the fix to offer. Not a discount.

Type in your shipments a year and your average shipment value and it puts a dollar figure on the members at risk. On the sample club built into the page, that's 9 of 34 members and $5,400 a year.

Four things worth knowing:

Your member list never leaves your computer. There is no upload. The whole app loads into your browser and your own machine does the math. Your data is never put into Claude or any other AI: the scoring is a fixed list of rules, written out on the page, run as plain code. I never see the file, and nothing is stored anywhere. Turn off your Wi-Fi after the page loads and it still works. The page spells all of this out, question by question, because I wouldn't hand my member list to a stranger's website either.

You can see what you get before you drop anything in. The page shows the full output on a made-up club: the groups, the dollar figure, the reasons, the list, and how to work it. The example spreadsheet is there to download with no signup.

Mug clubs, bottle clubs, and loyalty programs work the same way. A distributor can swap members for accounts and shipments for reorders.

You can take it further. One button copies a Claude prompt with your numbers already filled in, so Claude writes the save emails for each group. And if you want your own version with your own weights, there's a build prompt at the bottom of the page. Paste it into Claude and it builds you a copy.

This is the first of a new habit: one working tool a month, built from a play in this newsletter, free on the site. If there's a tool you'd want next, hit reply and tell me.

Forward this to whoever runs your club. They'll have a call list by lunch.
